This project was completed as my thesis project of the certificate in fine art photography through the Photographic Center NW, which I completed in the summer of 2025. A recording of my artist talk can be found here.

In (re)Constructing Memory, I photograph myself in the years my maternal line was the age I am now.
This series of self-portraits embodies five generations of photographic evolution. It spans from 1864 wet-plate collodion through glass negative, silver gelatin, slide film and all the way to 1986 colour analog.
